The location was particularly good - a short way from everywhere we wanted to go. This hotel was in a peaceful area right by the shops, bars, and restaurants, public transport, the lake and the lovely pubs in Bowness, 

Clean place & amazing friendly staff with a great service. Plenty of good food for meals. The rooms extremely pleasant and airy with shower and sofa. Charming old and truly exceptional hotel in a very central location between two villages. 

The location was marvellous and beautiful for bars and restaurants. It took only 15 minutes to walk to Royalty Cinema bus stop. New-fashioned room, super-friendly staff — everything was really good.  

We truly enjoyed tasty breakfasts and gorgeous views!

The bed was exceptionally comfortable and the room itself was neat. The location seemed marvellous and fantastic in the very Center.

The units are brand-new, well-appointed with shower areas all very clean, brilliant breakfast, as for instance.

There was really tasty breakfasts with fruit juice, toast and generous portions. Stunning very central location not far from the best bars and restaurants in Bowness, lake and station and the water front for the boat trip. 

The location of the hotel was very central, near the beautiful Lake District as well as the outskirts of Bowness. Appreciated it and would definitely go again.

The food in the restaurant is really good, with a tasty breakfast that has generous portions and also includes toast and yoghurts; the hotel is situated in a lovely location close to everything.

The rooms here are brand-new and have a romantic vibe, with lovely decor and a sash window. It's just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop.

The breakfast at The White Lodge was incredibly tasty, and they even catered exceptionally well for vegetarians. The location of the hotel was so convenient, with its proximity to the stunning Lake District, as well as the nearby

Absolutely loved this hotel! Stayed here 1st - 2nd Feb and it was my first time in the Lakes, was very impressed - staff really friendly and easy to talk to. As we were celebrating a birthday we had cake
